For 70 years, God has used Union Bible Institute to teach His Word and assist in the development of Christian leaders. Our purpose is to develop Christ-like servant-leaders who are committed to Christ and His Great Commission.
UBI remains committed to the unchanging message of the Bible and the preaching of its truth. At the same time, we recognize that the application of the message and the methods we use must meet the need of the times in which we live.
On the 24th November 2012, the Union Bible Institute held its 71st graduation. Twenty nine students graduated with the Diploma in Theology and five students graduated with the Higher Certificate in Theology.
We are collaborating with the Baptist Theological College to offer our Diploma in Theology graduates the opportunity to pursue a Bachelor of Theology degree.
Eric Binion will be leading a ministry trip to Lesotho on 11-14th June. The group will include: Dominic Dass, Simiso and Sindile Moyo, Thandazo Kubheka, Ayanda Kakaza, Sikhumbuzo Mabaso. Read more
The annual Union Bible Institute alumni conference will be held on the campus from the 25th through 28th June. All alumni are invited!!
We have started training the teachers of Mashaka Primary School in Sweetwaters in computer literacy. This will continue for the next five weeks. In term three, we will make this training available to the community at large.

UBI is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DoHET) to offer the Higher Certificate in Theology and the Diploma in Theology qualifications.
